Mark va a colaborar junto a Pierre Bouvier (Simple Plan) y Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low) en una nueva canción para Simple Plan. Se a pasado el día en twitter bromeando sobre esto. De todas formas, no es la primera vez que Mark lo hace.

blink-182 en portada de la nueva Kerrang!

Acaba de terminar el concierto de blink-182 en el Reading. Es muy probable que lo podáis ver después si os lo habéis perdido, si lo encuentro os lo pondré, pero por si acaso lo estoy subiendo a YouTube, aunque aviso que la calidad es cutre, sobretodo del audio y apuesto a que me lo borran. En un ratito esta.

La revista sale el miércoles, a ver si cuando salga encuentro los scans y os los pongo. Que el titular se las trae "Como Mark, Travis y Tom han aprendido a quererse otra vez".

blink-182 - Reading 2014 (Live Stream)

Esta noche blink-182 actúa en el Reading 2014 y se emitirá en directo por Internet a través de la web de la BBC (21:55 UK, aqui 22:55). Aunque hay una mala noticia, por bloqueo regional no podemos verlo. Pero hay herramientas como hola.org que os dejaran verlo. Si os lo perdéis o no podéis verlo, es posible que después este online, aunque del Leeds no han subido los vídeos y no se vio en streaming. Como sabéis prometieron algo especial, así que yo no me lo pierdo.

blink-182 hará algo especial en el Reading & Leeds

Tom ha dicho en una entrevista para NME, que este fin de semana en el Reading & Leeds harán algo especial. Van a tocar algunas canciones de Dogs Eating Dogs que no han tocado en Europa, algunos clásicos y una sorpresa que no han tocado en mucho, mucho tiempo. Lo que no harán será tocar canciones nuevas, no quieren que la gente lo grabe con el móvil y después la escuchemos los demas por primera vez en YouTube en malas condiciones, quieren que escuchemos la mejor versión.

"We're going to play some songs off our last EP, songs that we haven't played in Europe," he says. "That came out at the end of 2012, so we'll do that, and then we'll play a lot of the classics, but we'll have something special that we haven't played for a long, long time that we've brought back and people are going to love that.

We don't play stuff that's not released. We'd rather a nice version of the song be the first that's out, a good-sounding version. And we can't premiere a new song now because it'll be filmed on cameraphones and then all over YouTube and suddenly that's the version that everyone knows. We want them to hear the version that we spent time on."

blink-182 entrara al estudio este año.

En una entrevista para Rockfreaks, Mark ha comentado que blink entrara al estudio a grabar su nuevo disco a finales de año. Mark espera que el método sea todos juntos en una misma habitación, ya que viajara a California a finales del verano. También dice que el plan original era entrar a principios de 2014, como esperábamos, pero que problemas personales en sus vidas lo impidieron

Hoppus: We are basically at the very beginning of the process. We were going to start recording at the beginning of this year, but there were some things happening in some of our personal lives that prevented us from getting in the studio, so now we are getting in the studio at the end of this year instead. We have the beginning of song ideas at this point, and we are really just excited to get into the studio and have an album out sooner rather than later.

Rockfreaks: Do you plan to record it more conventionally with all the members in the same room or will you do it remotely, like you did with ‘Neighborhoods?’

Hoppus: Hopefully we can all mostly be in the same room. I am actually moving back to Los Angeles at the end of this summer, and then all of us will be in Southern California so it will be a lot easier for us to be in the same place at the same time.
